Enginuity has joined forces with Ainsworth Inc / GDI Integrated Facility Services! We are very excited to leverage the additional capabilities and resources that we can leverage our clients. (PRESS RELEASE)
From Jim Mooney, our President:
We are pleased to inform you that Enginuity, LLC has made the decision to join forces with Ainsworth Inc. Ainsworth is one of the largest multi-trade facility services providers in North America, with over 2,700 employees operating through 20 offices in Canada and the U.S. providing clients with the full range of technical-trade services needed to install, operate, maintain and optimize the performance of the majority of systems and equipment in a facility. Ainsworth is a wholly-owned subsidiary of GDI Integrated Facility Services Inc., a Canadian-domiciled company with over 20,000 employees which is among the five largest facility services providers in North America.
We are very proud of what we have accomplished at Enginuity. Since our four founding partners created Enginuity in 2002, we have grown our business into one of the largest, most dependable and most innovative design/build mechanical contractors and service providers in Central Pennsylvania and Maryland. With more than 125 employees and a company culture centered on Safety, Selflessness, Trust and Drive, Enginuity has become the mechanical contractor of choice for clients with technologically complex projects to those seeking a reliable and dependable contractor to handle all of their mechanical needs.
We are very excited about joining forces with Ainsworth as it represents the next step in Enginuity’s strategic evolution and will support our future growth. Enginuity will become Ainsworth’s business partner servicing the Pennsylvania and Maryland markets. Ainsworth’s expertise in building automation, HVAC/mechanical and electrical services are highly complementary to Enginuity’s strength in HVAC and mechanical services. Enginuity will be able to provide our clients with the most innovative and technologically advanced building system solutions along with the ability to maintain, repair and replace all of the systems and equipment in a facility. We will be a true one-stop shop for both today’s and tomorrow’s buildings.
We feel that becoming part of the GDI family will also considerably strengthen Enginuity and serve to support our growth. GDI is a leading facility services provider that offers a range of services in Canada and the United States to owners and managers of a variety of facility types including office buildings, educational facilities, shopping centers, industrial facilities, healthcare establishments, distribution facilities, airports and other transportation facilities. GDI provides commercial and industrial janitorial and sanitation, building maintenance and staffing services in addition to the services provided by Ainsworth. Additionally, GDI is one of the largest commercial janitorial service providers in Pennsylvania with offices and operations in both Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. GDI had revenues of over $1.0 billion in its most recent fiscal year, and its subordinate voting shares are listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX: GDI).
There will be no change in our client or supplier relationships. The Enginuity personnel that support our relationship with you will remain the same, our commitment to provide you with high quality service will continue, and terms of the existing contract that you have with Enginuity will remain unchanged.
Our employees have worked hard to earn both your business and your trust and we are certain these strong customer and supplier relationships will continue to grow. This is an exciting time for our company and we look forward to taking this next step in Enginuity’s growth. I ask you to join us in celebrating this great news, and we look forward to continuing to work with you well into the future.
